From log stove to quality kitchen evolved over 85 years. The pace took a big leap when several events unfolded a few years ago. The food was good though food critics, cook staff, management and a visiting chef all agreed it was time to "Up our game."
We did, big time.
Gone were brand ingredients, premium suppliers were found and staff quickly found they could do a better job, there was a surge in confidence and creativity. Demonstrations were attended, advice taken, new recipes researched and tested, original dishes created. Flavour was perfected and presentation refined, we included white linens and new silverware to compliment the new cuisine.

Breakfast Fresh air, Park adventures, biking, canoeing, or just relaxing prompts even a timid appetite to our hearty breakfast. We offer a wide choice from our Algonquin Experience, cereals and fruits, eggs done as you like them to Apple Stuffed French Toast. Fresh teas and coffee to start, our homemade jams to finish.

Lunch In the relaxed Killarney atmosphere we offer interesting salads, tasty sandwiches, wraps and melts, simmering soups, as well as more substantial lunch fare. Each day brings a new selection and there's a changing dessert menu to complete your meal.

Dinner The pinnacle of a food lovers day and shows to the full why the cuisine at Killarney Lodge truly deserves the moniker Fine Country Dining. Best quality meats, fish, poultry and the freshest produce - beautifully cooked, carefully spiced, nicely presented. A medley of flavours from delicate starters to mains of perhaps Prime Rib, Atlantic lobster, Rack of Lamb and a well considered vegetarian choice - through to our outrageously good homemade desserts.
