A wedding weekend
They finally did it! After a five year engagement that was sidetracked by Covid, Eric’s daughter Alex and her fiancé Matt tied the knot at Killarney Lodge in August last year. Alex and Matt met working at Killarney in 2016, so the Lodge has always been a special place for them.

A milestone celebration
We’re honoured when people choose Killarney Lodge for important life events. Last year, we were thrilled to host the Dupuis family for the grandparents’ 50th wedding anniversary.

Hanging up for good
It’s been a staple on the property for years. Looking out of place amongst our red-and-black cabins was a solo Bell telephone booth. Although it had been out of service, people liked to take pictures with it or pretend to dial.
Last year, we bid goodbye as technicians rounded up the the park’s remaining phone booths and shipped them off. Read more
A secluded treasure
Just off the main property, Crowe Cottage offers guests a private oasis. It’s our largest cabin, with three bedrooms, a living room and two bathrooms. It’s also the only cabin with a firepit, so you can enjoy warm summer evenings making s’mores under the stars.

A familiar face
On arriving at Killarney Lodge, guests are greeted with a warm welcome at the front desk. No one gives a warmer welcome than front desk supervisor Kim Lundy.

Miglin family changeover
With the Miglin ‘kids’ now spread between Ontario, British Columbia and Buffalo, the wedding provided a rare opportunity for the gang to reunite for some quality time.
Eric is finally able to experience a summer elsewhere. He plans frequent trips to the Lodge to visit with staff and returning guests, but is confident with the ship being run by daughters Alex and Charlotte. Read more

How do we get the crust so flaky, the fillings so perfectly balanced? Strawberry, rhubarb, blueberry, apple, pecan… everyone has a favourite. Now you can enjoy these delectable treats at home! We offer pies for purchase - just ask. Read more.
