Killarney Lodge Pecan Pie

Makes one pecan pie.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees (F). Melt 1/6 cup of sweet butter in a medium bowl and combine 3 eggs, 1 cup corn syrup, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/3 tsp of vanilla, 1/3 tsp of salt. Mix well.

In an unbaked pie shell sprinkle 1/3 cup of pecans (chopped or whole), then pour the mixture over the pecans. Bake it for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature or chill. For an added treat, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!
